Fahad Khan is an immigrant American entrepreneur driven by a set of larger-than-life goals and an abiding desire to understand how the world works.
Fahad is the Founder, Chairman and CEO of One Public – a digital marketing software company providing cross-media mobile, social, video and local products and solutions for marketers.
In 2007, Fahad was one of the first entrepreneurs to found an enterprise focused social software startup in New York City and envisioned a market that would see over $2 Billion in M&A activity in 2012.
Over the past five years One Public has been at the forefront of providing cutting edge Facebook Marketing API solutions to some of the world's leading marketers such as L'Oreal, Estee Lauder, Turner, Samsung, Diageo, Kraft, NBC Universal, Bravo, Coach, Lufthansa, Chrysler, Hyundai, Arby's, Rodale, Economist and dozens more.
As one of the first and largest Facebook Preferred Marketing Developers (PMD) in the world, One Public pioneered and helped create the social marketing space.
In 2008, Fahad founded one of the first iOS development and pure-play mobile design and engineering company in New York City, Telephony Media. Telephony's most significant client project is the iOS apps and software/hardware interface engineering for iGrill, which won the Bluetooth SIG Best New Product Award at CES 2011. Fortune said, "The future of grilling has arrived", of iGrill.
Fahad is the Chairman of Gotham Innovation, a global venture development and innovation syndicate, which bootstraps and incubates international new ventures (Oviatt & McDougall, 1994) fostering the born global phenomenon (McKinsey & Company, 1993).
Over the past 5 years, Gotham has incubated and accelerated over a dozen startups with collective enterprise value of over $100 million. Lifemap – a family tech startup building a future centric private social network, digital content and life events management tools for families – is one of the most significant innovations incubated by Gotham.
Before immigrating to United States in 2007, Fahad worked and headed up a product development division at Wateen, a telecom startup (now a public company) backed by H.H. Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan and Abu Dhabi Group. Earlier in his career, at the age of 21, Fahad grew a New York based telecom startup from 15 to 100+ employees in less than a year.
An academic expert in Innovation & International Entrepreneurship, Fahad holds M.Sc. Engineering degree in Management and Economics of Innovation from Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden.
An educator-at-large, Fahad is an Adjunct Professor at Rutgers Business School, New Jersey, United States.
